About
Jose Jorge Netto is a freelance creative and art director with 15 years of experience. He currently collaborates with Apple, crafting campaigns and visual language for Apple Sports and Apple TV. His recent clients include global brands such as Nike, Google, Ray-Ban, and Meta, and personalities like Lionel Messi and Travis Scott.
Previously, as a creative director on Nike, Jose led the repositioning and rebranding of Nike Diamond (baseball and softball), resulting in double-digit growth in youth MLB viewership, Little League participation, and Nike Diamond’s social media following. He also led the ad campaign for skateboarder Ishod Wair’s first signature Nike SB shoe, which broke records for views and shares across Nike SB channels.
Earlier in his career, Jose worked as an art director on the celebrated “got milk?” campaign. Beyond commercials, he co-created Bones Love Milk, an irreverent action sports and lifestyle brand for “got milk?” that evolved into a world-class professional skateboard team and a popular hub for action sports culture.
Over the years, his work has consistently garnered media attention, including features in The New York Times, GQ Sports, and Complex, along with industry recognition and tangible business results for his clients.
Originally from abroad, Jose moved to the U.S. as a teenager on an athletic scholarship. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Utah State University and a Master of Arts in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin, where he also served as a teaching assistant and researcher while completing the school’s creative portfolio program.
