Intro

Acapulco is a coming-of-age comedy from Apple TV+ that takes place at a resort town in the 80s. Inspired by the show, we promoted it as a destination, inviting people to experience all the fun, heartwarming moments, and 80s nostalgia of the series.

Our campaign looked like something you’d be seeing if you were stepping off the plane in Acapulco in 1986, including a travel brochure on Instagram, designed to get people to dive into the show.

During the season we’re introduced to Espectacular TV, a celebrity-gossip show within the show. Taking influence from that, we developed an editorial approach for social media with a tabloid twist that enticed people to delve into the characters and their relationships.
