Intro
To continue infusing community and culture into baseball, we created new narratives and designs for the MLB teams’ uniforms, drawing from street codes to reflect the history and truth of each franchise’s hometown. It's your team. Your city. Stitched as one.
We brought something new to “The Lou”—a visual language that’s a modern take on St. Louis’ cultural heritage, with a message that highlights a nickname for the city made popular by its native son, Nelly.
In Tampa, we paid tribute to the city’s iconic skate scene with a graphic mark representing the historic sign at Perry Harvey Sr. Park Skateboard Bowl, along with colorful neon glows symbolizing a community that’s bright, vibrant, and progressive.
We outfitted a variety of teams, and the new uniforms quickly made their way into fashion and culture, sparking numerous social media responses and articles from The New York Times to GQ Sports. Nike.com sold out within 48 hours.
